Color Inc Wedding Photo Contest on UnitPrints.com!

RULES:
1. Submissions must be emailed to contest@colorincprolab.com and include your studio name - Studio names will be added as a caption and watermark for each image.
2. Entry is FREE and limited to ONE image per photographer.
3. The image submitted must be taken by you - you must own the copyright.
4. Subject of the photo MUST be from a wedding.
5. Entries submitted after Friday, 7/29/11 12 PM EST will not be added to the album.
6. Voting Ends Monday, 8/1/11 at 10AM EST. Any additional "LIKES" after the cut off time will not be considered.
7. Once images are received, Color Inc will post them to the Unitprints.com album titled "Color Inc Wedding Photo Contest on Unitprints.com!" From there, you can share the album to friends and family via facebook, twitter, public link, or email with this link: http://www.unitprints.com/shares/redeem/4064-910793913/
8. Image with the most "LIKES" will receive $300 Color Inc Lab Credit - Not redeemable for cash.
9. We will not tolerate or accept derogatory, obscene, or photographs containing nudity. Color Inc has the right to deny any image as an entry.
10.Color Inc is not responsible for any copyright infringements. Please respect the property and privacy of others, ask permission before posting images of other people.
11. By emailing your image to contest@colorincprolab.com, you agree that Color Inc is not responsible for any potential damages and you therefore hold them harmless.

How Abby Uses UnitPrints.com
Are you familiar with Unitprints.com yet?
UnitPrints.com is a sister company of yours truly - Color Inc! It is a free program that offers Free Unlimited Storage, Free Unlimited Galleries, Fuji Professional Paper, and the ability to share albums via Facebook, Twitter, Email, and Public Link. Plus, the prints are from Color Inc! Once signed up as a UnitPrints.com user, you are now ready to begin uploading high resolution images using our fast and easy file uploading tool. A great way to host all of your events.
Abby, our awesome customer service rep of Abby Fox Photography (www.AbbyFoxPhotography.com) will be demonstrating how she uses it to help her photography business.
Instead of wasting time burning a CD, I upload the high resolution images from the wedding into an album by selecting creating new album. This is a great option for those photographers who choose to give their clients a CD of all the high resolution images. Plus, your album on Unitprints.com will never expire so it will forever be safe and sound! :)
Once they are uploaded, I then use the share option.
Which prompts you to the screen below. If you'd like, you can select the "Allow Image Downloading" for your clients.
Ways I SHARE an album:
UnitPrints.com offers you the ability to share an album with clients, family, and friends in just one click. With this feature, you can easily share on facebook or twitter as well as send an invite through e-mail. UnitPrints.com also provides a public link feature which allows you to share your albums by copy and pasting the link and sharing it via blog, forum, printed handouts, etc.
- Facebook: By clicking the facebook option, I share it on my bride's wall and my own - as well as the bridal party members. This is a great way to network and expose your pictures! - Our favorite way to share! :)
- Email: This is a great alternative to facebook. Grandma and Grandpa may not be on facebook (yet) so let them in on the album as well.
- Twitter: I love twitter and its a great way for your twitter friends to check out your work! People in the wedding can Re-Tweet it to all their followers as well.
- Public Link: An all around perfect option for sharing! Works everywhere! I simply copy and paste it. For example, I use it in a blog post so everyone can see the images.. not just handful that I post.
What my clients can do once I share their album:
SHARE: Clients can now view their images in beautiful high resolution from any computer! With the public link option, they too can share their album with friends and family.
EDIT: The Editing option allows them to edit right in UnitPrints.com. Clients can choose the editing applications available to customize their images. For files that are in need of a simple and fast edit, try our easy-to-use 'Picnik' application, otherwise, take advantage of our 'Pixlr' application for more advanced edits.
PRINT: As a photographer, do you worry about where your clients get their images printed? Direct them to a lab you trust - Color Inc! :) They can choose print size, paper type, etc., my clients will love it!
Once they select a size, they will be forwarded to the below page. Once they are ready to place their order, they can click the green Shopping Cart Option. Then, they will be asked to pay via paypal or credit card. The Color Inc quality pictures will ship right to their house!
DOWNLOAD
They can select the "Download High Res File" option as seen below to save an image to their computer. Clients love this - Especially for changing their facebook profile picture :)
Don't forget, this is an optional feature! When you go to share your album with your clients, you can uncheck it.
I add my business card artwork right in the album. This way, when the bride shares the album with friends, my contact info is right there!
When booking my clients, I include in their package a UnitPrints.Com account - An extra selling point! I let them know it is a way to share with their friends and family as well as a tool to help them order images. The best part is that it's FREE .. and super easy to use! :)
